Erosion problems are often difficult to assess until the erosion has progressed to a dangerous level.

Consecutive acquisition of LiDAR data over a period of time can pin point precise areas of change and can be used to develop and support mitigation efforts. Slope and aspect data can be calculated from the LiDAR generated DTM and, combined with surface geologic data, can produce an extensive model showing the stability of different areas.

Lasermap has worked closely with our clients to provide important data for this and other environmental issues.
